Career Counseling Sessions

Meet with Mrs. Combs for a one on one career counseling session by signing up in the Counseling Center.  Wednesday afternoon sessions are available.  This session would be good for you if you need help deciding on a career path, picking classes that are geared towards your career path, or just need talk about different careers and post secondary plans.

Career Opportunities

1.  Black & Veatch Explorer Post- Interested in engineering?  Attend monthly meetings to get presentations and experience hands on activities.  First Nighter take place August 29th.  Click HERE to view the flyer.


2.  Northwest Missouri AHEC Pipeline 2017-2018 Schedule of events. These sessions are fantastic for students interested in medical/health careers.  Click HERE to view the flyer.


3.  Volunteer Fair- Do you need community service hours?  Attend the fair at Antioch Branch Library on August 26th from 11-1pm.   Contact Jane Palmer for questions.


4.  Perry Orthopedic Surgery Workshop- Are you interested in pursuing a career in medicine and engineering.  Apply by August 30th. The workshop will take place Saturday, Sept. 30 at MCC-Penn Valley.  This is a free, one-day, hands -on experience for students grades 10 and up.

Meet with Mrs. Jones for assistance setting up a shadow opportunity or internship.  Mrs. Jones will be taking appointments every Wednesday at 1:40pm in the Counseling Center.  The first meeting is Sept 13th and you can sign up in the Counseling Center.
