The Graduation/Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2017 will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at 6:30 pm at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena (Independence Events Center). Graduates should report to the south entrance at 5:30 pm. The main entrance will open for guests at 5:30 pm. Due to the number of graduates each graduate's family will be limited to 6 tickets to the ceremony. We ask one member of each family to RSVP the number of tickets needed via the link posted to the right of this page. Up to 4 additional tickets may be requested by contacting the Liberty North High School Administration office. The information contained on this page should answer most questions you may have concerning school checkout, Commencement and Baccalaureate. Graduating students must have completed all graduation requirements by May 9, 2017 in order to participate in the ceremony.
Senior and Finals – Seniors will not be required to take the regularly scheduled final exams; however, seniors may be required to take tests in any class prior to May 9th.
The Baccalaureate Ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Seniors should report to the lower level of the Church by 6:30 pm. Seniors should be dressed in appropriate church attire, no jeans, tennis shoes, flip flops, etc. and wearing your cap and gown. Attendance to Baccalaureate is not mandatory.

Rehearsal - Yearbook Distribution Day
May 11th, 2017 will be a very busy day for graduates. All graduates should report to the cafeteria at Liberty North at 8:30 am for the Senior Breakfast. Rehearsal will be held in the field house around 10:00 a.m.. Immediately following rehearsal seniors should put on their graduation gowns for the 2017 Class Picture.
Yearbooks will be distributed on May 12th, 2016 in the field house at LNHS. Seniors may pick up their yearbook at 12:00 p.m. Underclassmen will follow an early release schedule and will be dismissed to yearbook distribution at 1:50 p.m. All students will remain in the gym and the building will be closed until 3:15 p.m.
Last Senior Meeting and Seniors' Last Day
The last Senior Meeting for the Class of 2017 will be held on May 2nd, 2017 before school on the Field house Mezzanine. Seniors should report to the field house by 7:45 am. This meeting is mandatory for all seniors. Seniors will need to bring their laptops to this meeting to complete their exit information. Tickets for the commencement ceremony will be distributed at this meeting.
May 9th, 2017 is the last day of classes for seniors provided all goes well throughout the year. Seniors will be expected to have their lockers completely cleaned out (pictures, tape, writing, books etc.). Any writing on lockers must be completely cleaned off by the end of Eagle Hour or you will not be processed for graduation and you will be placed on the LNHS Obligation List. Items left in lockers are not considered "returned".
We will be following a normal late start Tuesday bell schedule. You will need to turn in your laptops to the LMC sometime during the day on Tuesday. Please do not wait until the end of the day. It has been determined that due to the size of the Class of 2017 and the number of seats available, each graduate's family will receive 6 tickets to the ceremony. In hopes of accommodating as many families as possible, we are asking one member of each family to RSVP the number of tickets they will need to the ceremony.
