LNHS Obligation List

Debts – Diplomas, transcripts and grade cards will be withheld from any student with a debt owed to the high school.  All debts must be paid prior to graduation, remuneration will not occur at the ceremony.  Paying the fee, returning the object or presenting receipt or note from the teacher/coach or sponsor regarding the debt to Mrs. Barrett will clear the obligation.  Fines may be paid in the Administration Office.  Objects left in lockers or in classrooms are not considered as “returned” and students will not be removed from the obligation list until the teacher/sponsor or coach confirms the return of the item to inventory.

Diplomas – Graduates who do not intend to participate in commencement exercises and do not have outstanding debts may pick up their diplomas at North on or after May 15, 2017.  Graduating seniors receive their diploma cover at the Commencement Ceremony; the actual diploma needs to be picked up from the student’s senior advisory teacher after the ceremony, provided they are not on the Debtor’s List.  Graduates can only pick up their diploma upon the return of their gown, therefore, any family pictures in cap and gown need to be taken prior to the return of the gown.

Pictures – Pictures of each of the graduates will be taken during the ceremony by a professional photography service, Dice Photography, 816.781.2956.  Dice Photography’s contact information is also listed on your graduation ticket stub.  You will receive some preliminary information from them shortly after graduation.  Videos of the ceremony may be purchased by clicking here.
